Bushfire Fighter careers

Their role involves operating firefighting equipment, working in challenging and often hazardous outdoor conditions, and collaborating closely with other emergency services. They must be physically fit and able to respond quickly to emergencies, sometimes working long hours in remote or difficult terrain.

Bushfire Fighters also engage in community education about fire safety and assist with hazard reduction activities such as controlled burns to minimize the risk of future fires.
