Electrical Fitter careers
An Electrical Fitter constructs electrical equipment and circuits in a range of settings. You might design electrical plans and install electrical wiring. Electrical Fitters also test electrical systems and diagnose faults. You might specialise in smaller residential projects or focus on larger commercial and industrial work.
Electrical Fitters should have strong attention to detail and excellent technical skills. You’ll need to be safety focused and able to follow correct procedures. Electrical fitters must be able to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
