Environmental Consultant careers
An Environmental Consultant provides advice on environmental issues to businesses, organisations and government departments. You might look at current practices and make suggestions for improvements or examine proposed developments or activities. Environmental Consultants might address issues such as waste disposal, air or water pollution or soil contamination. You might carry out or analyse the results from environmental audits, surveys or assessments.
Environmental Consultants need to have a strong understanding of environmental issues and current legislation and standards. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Environmental Consultants should be passionate about the environment but also able to address the needs of corporate clients. You’ll need to be organised and have strong time management skills.
