Furniture Designer careers
A Furniture Designer creates plans for furniture pieces. You might design individual or custom-made pieces or develop designs for mass production. Furniture Designers may create sketches or prototypes and decide which materials to use during production. You might liaise with customers to determine requirements for individual pieces.
Furniture Designers should be creative and able to come up with unique ideas for a range of purposes. You’ll need to understand client needs and be able to follow instructions closely. Furniture Designers should be up to date with current furniture and interior design trends and should be flexible when creating new designs.
