Plasterer careers
A Plasterer installs and repairs plasterboard walls and ceilings. You’ll perform measurements, cut panels to size and place them in position. Plasterers secure plasterboard panels and use a range of plastering techniques to cover joins and nails. You might fix damaged panels for customers or specialise in decorative plastering techniques.
Plasterers should be physically fit and able to keep up with the manual labour involved in this position, including heavy lifting tasks. You should have strong attention to detail and be able to adapt your skills to suit a range of circumstances. Plasterers should be able to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment.
