Project Engineer careers
A Project Engineer oversees a range of engineering projects and is usually involved from the development stage through to completion. You might plan the project initially, including allocation of resources and setting a budget. Project Engineers liaise with stakeholders involved in the project and manage staff and contractors. You’ll ensure the project runs smoothly and deal with any issues that arise.
Project Engineers should be very organised and able to manage their time well. You’ll need to be a good problem solver and work with a budget and a deadline. Project Engineers should be able to communicate well with their team and display strong leadership abilities. Attention to detail is important and you should be able to work to a plan.
