A Sandblaster prepares surfaces for painting and other treatments by applying abrasive materials. You’ll use sandblasting equipment to remove things like rust and corrosion or previously applied paintwork. Sandblasters usually work on metal surfaces but you may also prepare other hard surfaces such as timber.
Sandblasters should be physically fit and have strong attention to detail. It’s important you can work as part of a team and follow correct procedures. Sandblasters may work at a range of job sites so you may have to travel during your work day. You should be safety focused and be able to manage your time well.
