A Yoga Instructor teaches yoga classes for groups of participants. You might work with beginning yoga students or with more experienced clients. Yoga Instructors demonstrate yoga techniques and ensure participants are holding their positions correctly. You might teach yoga classes at your own home or in a gym or health clinic.

A Yoga Instructor, or Yoga Teacher, should be physically fit and able to demonstrate a range of yoga techniques. It’s important that you can communicate well and listen to the individual needs of your clients. Yoga Instructors should be organised and able to deal with several tasks at one time. You must be able to work with clients from a range of backgrounds and display excellent interpersonal skills.
