Mentor Education's Diploma of Financial Planning & SMSF (when combined with one of the AFS licensing options) enables accountants to meet their obligations detailed in Regulatory Guide 146 Licensing: Training of Financial Product Advisers (RG146) and provide advice in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), Margin Lending, Investing, Superannuation & Life Insurance. The course is specifically designed for, and oriented towards, recognised practicing public practice accountants. Taking into account their breadth of existing financial knowledge and acumen rather than working through the basics from the beginning.
Entry requirements for the Diploma of Financial Planning & SMSF vary depending on the institution but generally include completion of Year 12 with a minimum ATAR, VET pathway courses or prior experience.
