You may have to manage staff and you might sometimes be called on to pitch in with a bit of farm work.
Your role as an Agribusiness Manager will require you to stay on top of any developments within your industry. You’ll need to keep a close eye on the balance sheet of the business and consider ways to improve profitability. You’ll be liaising with buyers, stockists and workers so people skills are a must. You’ll need a good head for figures and have to be able to plan ahead. This is a role that requires a bit of flexibility so make sure you’re adaptable.
