A Construction Project Manager supervises all work on a building site to make sure a construction project is operating effectively. You’ll ensure the work site is adhering to all relevant codes and legislation and all your workers are being safe. Construction Project Managers keep an eye on budgets and timeframes and make sure construction work is of a high standard and completed according to plans. You’ll organise everything that’s needed on the construction site from tradespeople and subcontractors to materials and equipment.
A Construction Project Manager liaises with clients and building industry professionals so you’ll need to be a strong communicator. You’ll be managing several activities at once so organisational skills are crucial. You’ll be supervising a large team so you’ll need to be a good leader and an excellent problem solver.
