Construction Manager careers
A Construction Manager is in charge of a building project and ensures the work is completed to a high standard. You’ll make sure the project is finished on time and on budget. Construction Managers may work on complex projects such as new buildings or smaller jobs like renovation work. You’ll have to organise everything needed to keep the project running smoothly such as necessary equipment and materials to tradespeople and subcontractors.
Construction Managers need to be good at managing finances and will need to have excellent time management skills. You’ll need to plan ahead and manage any delays. You’ll make sure all industry legislation and standards are adhered to and ensure the work site is operating safely. Construction Managers need good leadership skills and should be able to communicate effectively with clients, workers and industry professionals.
