Health Care Worker careers
A Health Care Worker is employed in a range of settings to provide services to patients and clients. You may work directly with patients or you might support other health workers in their roles. Health Care Workers may perform a range of clinical tasks, deal with patients’ needs or complete administrative work. You might work in a large setting like a hospital or a smaller centre like a GP’s office or specialist provider.
Health Care Workers need to have excellent personal skills and be able to deal with patients with a wide range of needs. You should be able to follow directions and work as part of a team. Health Care Workers should be good at listening and communicating and it’s important that you can operate medical equipment when required.
