You might work in a kindergarten facility or deliver a kindergarten program in a childcare facility. Kindergarten Teachers prepare literacy and numeracy-based activities for their students but you will also focus on things like social skills, communication and fine and gross motor abilities.

Kindergarten Teachers will develop strong relationships with their students and also with children’s families. You’ll need to be flexible and able to work with children from different backgrounds and at various developmental levels. Kindergarten Teachers need to be patient and be good communicators. It’s important that you are energetic and able to keep up with a group of young children.
