To become a Laser Therapist you should already be a qualified beautician or dermal therapist, holding at least a Certificate III or IV under the Hairdressing and Beauty Services Training Package. You’ll then need either an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Laser and Light Therapies or the Advanced Diploma of Intense Pulsed Light and Laser for Hair Reduction (or both). You could realistically achieve these outcomes within 2-3 years.
