If you’re interested in working as a Pharmacy Technician, consider enrolling in a Certificate II in Community Pharmacy. You’ll develop an understanding of the legislation and guidelines affecting the supply of scheduled medicines and undertake a work placement in a pharmacy. A Certificate III in Community Pharmacy would also be appropriate.

You’ll need to be able to communicate well with customers and colleagues and follow correct procedures. Pharmacy Technicians should have a thorough understanding of pharmacy legislation and an excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products.
