Sterilisation Technician careers
A Sterilisation Technician sterilises equipment for a hospital or other health facility. You might work for a sterilisation service or in the sterilisation department of a large organisation. A Sterilisation Technician, or Sterilisation Assistant, may collect items, clean, disinfect and sterilise them and pack them ready for return. You might work with health care instruments, equipment or linen.
Sterilisation Technicians should be organised and able to meet timeframes and deadlines. It’s important that you follow correct procedures while carrying out your duties. Sterilisation Technicians should be able to work as part of a team and complete a range of administration tasks.
