The combined HLT35021 Certificate III in Dental Assisting and HLT45021 Certificate IV in Dental Assisting will set you up with the skills and experience you need to work as a professional dental assistant in a clinical environment. Students will learn how to assist with dental radiography, apply administration skills in a dental practice, comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures as well as process reusable medical devices and equipment.
Entry requirements for the Dual Certificate III in Dental Assisting & Certificate IV in Dental Assisting vary depending on the institution but generally include completion of Year 12 with a minimum ATAR, VET pathway courses or prior experience.
