Site Foreman careers
A Site Foreman ensures all work is progressing properly on a building or construction site. You’ll supervise other workers to make sure work is being carried out according to the designs or plan and ensure the work is of a high standard. You’ll make sure all workers, contractors and tradespeople are adhering to safety requirements. A Site Foreman might have to organise necessary tools and equipment and make sure building materials are ready when needed.
A Site Foreman will usually be supervising several activities at once so you’ll need to be organised and be able to multitask. You’ll need to be a strong leader and have excellent communication skills. Being a Site Foreman is a physical job and you’ll have to spend a lot of time outdoors. You’ll need a thorough understanding of current building industry codes and regulations.
