Retail Manager careers
A Retail Manager oversees the daily running of a retail store. You’ll supervise staff, set sales goals and manage budgets. Retail Managers ensure stores are meeting compliance standards and deal with any customer difficulties. You’ll manage stock levels and take care of promotional activities and advertising. You may also be involved with hiring and training new staff.
Retail Managers must have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate their team. It’s important that you have a strong focus on customer service and can communicate well with your staff. Retail Managers need to be organised and have good problem solving abilities. You must be able to manage finances and set sales targets.
