Human Resources Advisors are important members of the human resources department, providing advisory services and HR support to the organisation’s management and staff. They may assist with recruitment, training, HRIS (Human Resources Information System) management, HR compliance, grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace relations.
As a Human Resources Advisor you could be co-ordinating the onboarding of a new set of staff, reviewing the HR process manuals and policies, carrying out an HR audit to ensure compliance, updating the HR database, investigating an employee grievance, or reviewing employment letters to ensure they comply with Fairwork legislation.
To succeed in this job role, you will need outstanding interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of standard HR policies, the Fair Work Act, and Modern Awards.
