An IT Technician performs repairs and maintenance on computers and information technology systems. You might respond to IT problems and diagnose faults. IT Technicians resolve issues and may also make changes to computer systems to accommodate new requirements. You may work in a call centre or attend to issues in person.

IT Technicians should have good technical abilities and be able to adapt their skills when required. It’s important you can communicate well and have a focus on customer service. IT Technicians must be excellent problem solvers and be comfortable working in a team setting. You may have to work a range of shifts in this role.
